As I've mentioned previously, 2011 is here and it's not going anywhere. You've probably already got tons of resolutions this year, but feel free to add a few new ones about some financial stuff you should knock out this year:
Get out of debt
If you've got a lot of debt, this might be a multi-year thing. If you've just got a little bit though, you should focus on getting rid of that ASAP.
Save some money
If you don't have any money in your savings account, you should probably work on that.
Open and fully fund an IRA
I wrote a post about IRAs in the past. One goal you should set for this year is to open (if you don't have one) and fully fund a traditional IRA or Roth IRA. Get Rich Slowly has an excellent post that explains how and where to open a Roth IRA.
Fund your employer-sponsored retirement plan
At least fund it enough to get matching contributions if your employer offers that. Mine doesn't :(
Spend less than you earn
This should probably be at the top of the list, but seriously, how hard is it to spend less than you earn?
