2010 will forever be remembered as the year I started blogging hardcore. Despite some rough patches, like not being able to blog while being on back-to-back missions these past couple months, I think I've done a pretty good job. My new header picture is on it's way, and I'm currently in a position where I'll have more time to spend writing.
The Good
The good news is that my blog is here to stay. It's not going to end when I get back to the states, although the topics might change since the Afghanistan Diaries won't make sense if I write them from the comfort of my home.
If you've never blogged or written a substantial amount of words before, then know that it can be quite a challenge. I was never much for writing in school, but I'm pretty proud of the work I've managed to put into this blog in such a short time.
The Bad
Back-to-back missions killed my posting schedule and probably any reader base I had accumulated. My goal in 2011 is to get lots of people reading and commenting on my blog. How do I plan to do that? Your guess is as good as mine.
The Ugly
Have you seen my picture? Man, talk about ugly.
